I had a brand new shower cubicle built, it was completed a month ago. 2weeks ago as I turned the shower on the large square shower head came off and struck me on the forhead, and also made 2 holes in my brand new shower tray. I had a cut and lump on my forhead, I rang my builder who had done the work, he said he would fill the shower tray with filler, no apologies for my injury, the blood was still running down my face when he arrived. I said I wanted a new shower tray, he said not his problems! Any help please

Hi, I'll try to be helpful, as not many others seem to want to be.  Did the builder give you a guarantee for all the work done? He should have. And if so, you can refer to that and demand that he put the shower right. (Although who would trust him to do a good job?!) It actually IS his problem. Citizens Advice Bureaux can (and do!) give advice before you start taking any more action or spending any more money. And you can call them free, too. 0344 411 1444. Good luck! And I'm sorry your head was hurt, that's awful.
    Why should he?

LBA  letter before action , google for templates .
The action is small claims court court for cost of the repair .
NO. Before all this, what about the guarantee??  And anyway, small claims court costs.
You seem to have a thing about guarantees! SCC only costs if you lose.

LBA often wakes a vendor up  and costs only a stamp .
MM has failed to read the OP where the guy refused to replace the shower tray  under guarantee or no guarantee .
CAB  that would be to advise on Consumer Rights >>

I don't think "Boost your income" is the right forum for this question
Well her previous advice from the forum 'Boost your Water Pressure' led to disaster.
