Injury due to brand new shower head striking my forhead

I had a brand new shower cubicle built, it was completed a month ago. 2weeks ago as I turned the shower on the large square shower head came off and struck me on the forhead, and also made 2 holes in my brand new shower tray. I had a cut and lump on my forhead, I rang my builder who had done the work, he said he would fill the shower tray with filler, no apologies for my injury, the blood was still running down my face when he arrived. I said I wanted a new shower tray, he said not his problems! Any help please

Don't forget the cost of plastic surgery for the cut on the head!!!!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

NO. Before all this, what about the guarantee??  And anyway, small claims court costs.

Hi, I'll try to be helpful, as not many others seem to want to be.  Did the builder give you a guarantee for all the work done? He should have. And if so, you can refer to that and demand that he put the shower right. (Although who would trust him to do a good job?!) It actually IS his problem. Citizens Advice Bureaux can (and do!) give advice before you start taking any more action or spending any more money. And you can call them free, too. 0344 411 1444. Good luck! And I'm sorry your head was hurt, that's awful.
