Leave it a little longer for others to check over, but there is no real reason to delay submitting it otherwise.

When you get to the WS stage, then holding off a as long as possible is recommended in the hopes that you will see the scammers WS first, and be able to comment on it in yours. Just make sure you do not miss any filing dates.

Oh, and it's defence, not defence document.

Once you are sure your Defence is complete, send it when you like.

Don't file it before you are sure of that though - it costs money to seek permission to change it.

Thanks Fruitcake, was actually thinking of doing this but didn't want to be cheeky and assume someone would check it so really appreciate it:

Don't think like that, we are as keen as you to scupper the scam.    In court cases we are very successful, more so than the scammers

Looks ready to go (by email only) to the CCBC, with the PDF of the Southampton case appended as standard.

Just to keep you in the loop, have submitted the defence and after writing to my MP, she has also written to Excel Parking's MD to ask for an explanation of the situation but she has yet to hear back.
It appears that I am awaiting for a DQ next?

DOnt wait forever. You know the latest by which you should have a DQ, so makes ure at worst you download and file and serve (Court AND CLAIMANT) before then. Post can go missing.

Just downloaded the DQ and filled in with the advice from the linked NEWBIE forums.
May sound a silly question but the box at the top right hand part of this form states: "In the" and "Claim No". I obviously have my claim number but what does the "In the" box need in it?
Would you guys recommend emailing this immediately to the Claimant Company as currently only had an automated email from CCBC AQ without any other details on it? I have selected my local Court in section D1 but is it not a bit premature and presumptuous that I can send it to them at this stage?
I can certainly see why these sort of cowboy companies exist because it requires a lot of time and reading to really get your head round all of this stuff and can imagine that many people just pay up because they can't be bothered!!!

Ignore my daft question about the "In the" - just spotted it next to the Claim number on the claim form.

It would be easier for you if you just accepted that the regulars on here that reply know what they are talking about , so just to do what you are told and stop worrying about it

Fill it in and email it to the same CCBC email address that you sent the defence to

If in any doubt about the claimant , email it and post it with a free certificate of posting from the post office counter, not signed for to the claimant as seen on the claim form

The rest of your worrywart is irrelevant
