Moving Home - continuous service

I am in the process of moving out of rented to my own home but due to Covid-19 I have been working from home. I plan to move in one day as it is less than a mile away but as I need to work I was wondering how smooth is the process as I need, much as possible, continuous internet (i.e. when one gets switched off I need to be able to work at the other new place).
I'm with BT and any tips would be very useful

Have BT agreed to move you ??Most switch off and one within a couple of hours , covid etc unknown effect .Use mobile network/ dongle as a backup .0

BT are much closer to normal now even during covid. If you have a BT phone they will prob give you unlimited data if they can't swp over on time.
