What's the catch with this Virgin mobile iPhone SE deal?

Monthly cost for effectively unlimited data is barely more than half of what it is on other networks. £24 a month for 100GB, unlimited texts and calls.
It's a 36 month contract but still much cheaper than equivalents elsewhere. The 24 month version is cheaper per month than 36 months on O2, Vodafone and EE.
What am I missing or is this genuine?

It's genuine but as you say, your tied in for 3 years rather than the standard 2 offered by the others. Sky were running a deal on their iPhone 11 & were £21 less a month than Vodafone.

I must say the customer service on Virginmobile is bad...makes Vodafone look like saints0

I haven't expreanced bad customer service from virgin mobile or virgin TV/internet. I have been with them 5 years.0
