At present I have Sky Entertainment with Sky HD for which I am paying £34.20 per month.
While looking to pay less I came across Sky Signature for £25 a month on the Sky web page.
What is the difference between Sky Signature and Sky Entertainment with Sky HD?

  • "Signature" has Box Sets included as standard.
There are deals on Signature if you call them, I got Signature at £17/month and Sports HD at £23/month on an 18 month contract last week.
Also got 2 months of the HD Pack for free, thereafter it will be £6/month but you can cancel with 31 days notice, it does not affect Sports HD.
    Call and ask !

I was thinking that I might have had to get Sky Q to get Signature.

Is it not possible to get the basic package without netflix anymore? It used to be £20pm
  • Signature does not include Netflix.

@st999, I just have a SKY+ HD box, Q is not required for the Signature package.

If you wanted access to UHD content then you would need Q.  That won't be coming to Sky+HD, nor will the Netflix integration or the Disney+ integration.  But if you're not interested in any of this or anything in the future that will no doubt be Q only, then its arbitrary :)

Can I change to Sky Signature online? as the last time I tried to change something online I ended up paying more, that has been fixed.

If you were upgrading your Sky package (and in the couple of days after your previous bill was generated) you need to remember that you pay for your services a month in advance, so if you upgrade you will pay more initially but that's only to align the additions.  It should have balanced out after a payment or two.

You should be able to change online, log in and have a look.  If not, telephone's over there.
  • I called to change my package and they were very helpful, I asked if they had any other offers and they told me about the 2 free month of the HD pack.

I telephoned but got stuck in the voice menu then I was hung on on as they were too busy to make any changes.
