Wow CLF, 6 hours of tattooing - sounds like torture to me! Hope he likes it when it is done.Finished front garden remodelling, now feeling a bit stiff, and trying not to nod off. Just taken 4 now surplus to requirements garden pots down to sales unit, to hopefully sell on. Garden stuff normally goes quite well. DS came round before lunch to pick up the barbecue he wanted, and to tell us about his and his GF's house hunting adventures
I have also made a sourdough loaf, made pesto with the basil I cut the other day, cleaned the kitchen sink and the bathroom, and done a load of washing, but not much else.
I ought to also:Check banks and update spreadsheetPay the milk billDo the ironing that has been lurking for daysMake a cake or some biscuitsClean up some items for my sales unit, as it isn't quite full of garden pots!Dinner tonight will be lamb chops, new potatoes and salad with HM coleslaw. Might make an apple crumble, which would involve peeling and chopping some apples and covering with crumble mix from the freezer. Not too onerous, and there is ice cream to go with it4 -
Tea sounds lovely dawn what time you serving up, I’ll pop round 😋4

Morning folks
Not much to report here today. OH's arm looks fab (albeit a bit swollen and sore). I got a really good long walk in as I walked up towards the tattoo place from work (about 2 hours walk), although I did dawdle looking at views, birdies, butterflies, plants etc
Insurance bloke coming between 8.30 and 9.30 today so out the way nice and early. I'm at work so OH will be dealing with him. He has an incredibly unlikely name... l'm just looking forward to my hair cut later. You couldn't make it up. Just had a call from the bloke saying there was no answer at the house. First thought was that OH was upstairs and couldn't hear a knock. Second thought was that he'd had an accident and wasn't home! Asked the surveyor if our big green car was outside. Replied that there was a white Audi and a Fiat Panda. Yep, turns out that he was at the LL's house not ours. Visit must be rearranged with a different bloke *sigh*
MSE things are as usual. Food from home, crochet, work, rest.
Have a good one all

What a pain wrt the insurance assessor going to the wrong house! It really isn't anything to worry about though, he / she will just look at the damage and estimate how much it will cost to fix. We had a fire in an outbuilding at a previous address and had to claim for that. Dull, chilly sort of day again today. Where has the summer gone? My poor tomatoes desperately want some sun.I have an As*a order arriving tomorrow, so spent the morning firstly checking the fridge to see what needed using, and then cooking stuff up. I made a pan of celery soup from some sad celery, a lemon drizzle cake with a languishing lemon, and some scones because I had the oven on anyway! Apart from that I have / will:Early morning dog walkLoad of washing dried on lineWhat seemed like sinkfuls of washing up, plus running the dishwasher (unfortunately I only have room for a slimline one)Updated grocery order onlineWatered newly planted lavenders etc in revamped front gardenI still need to do some ironing (I keep leaving this, and the pile has grown), list some items on ebay and freecycle, clean up some other items for my sales unit and water anything that needs it in the back garden. Someone is coming to pick up a small item sold on FB later, may list some other bits. Dinner will be pesto pasta.I guess I ought to get on with some of it!3

Morning folks
Feeling pretty groggy today as my body decided to wake up far too early. Nothing exciting to report but must pull my finger out and post at the weekend when I have more interesting things to say!
