o2 left me feeling like i cant go to contract!
Annoyed now. I've been with o2 for probably 5 years on pay&go and am now wanting to upgrade to contract. I have topped up a minimum of £10 a month regularly every month (thats at least £600 i've given them!) and i now want to upgrade to contract, but am being offered no loyalty rewards that count toward a contract for my 5 years of service to them!!
Ungrateful people!!

Thread title is a bit misleading - it's more like they make you feel like they don't want your money rather than you not being able to go to contract. It's unfortunately the way of the world. It happened to me (two and half years PAYG) and my GF (four years+ PAYG). I spent up to £40 per month on PAYG and they wouldn't offer anything. I stayed with them though when I went onto contract a few years ago as they offered best value at the time and I've had good upgrades and deals to keep me since (up to this year's nightmare of forever having incorrect bills - this may even drive me away from them when I next come up for contract renewal next year....but that's a different story). My GF went to 3 as they offered far better value (she's a texter and 3s Mix N Match suited her better). If you want a contract just shop around the netorks, I'm sure something will suit. Just read up about cashback deals before you commit to anything like that!!If this has been of any use please click on THANKS, it makes me look good.0 -

As you've found, loyalty means very little in the world of mobile phones. Shop around and get a better deal. See Martin's articles at the top of the Mobile forum.0
