I don't think you can easily send alcohol in the post to the USA, if you did manage to there's a good chance your sister would then get hit for duty, taxes etc.
Could you not buy from a US website to be delivered to your sister?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear1 -
Shipping costs for a case of wine from the UK are likely to be prohibitive. As peachprice suggests, purchasing from a US based company makes far more sense, and avoids the duties and taxes on imports.

If you are going to buy from an US site then be aware your activity might be a cause for flagging the purchase as being suspicious activity if you usually only purchase in the UK

As mentioned its much easier to buy from a US based site or you buy them a gift for say Amazon, I'm sure theres plenty of wine sellers to choose from.0

Royal Mail parcel prices to USA did rise quite a bit recently

Maybe easier and cheaper to buy something at amazon.com, you will be able to pay in GBP as well.1 -
You can buy things from sites such as amazon and just have them sent to the US, in fact, just use the US amazon site. It's so much easier and convenient. That's what we do when we send gifts to relatives overseas, anyway. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Just make sure you use a credit card with a fair exchange rate - PayPal is not a good choice.MSE indicates that Santander Zero and Barclaycard Rewards are good option for this.1
