How long does it take to change over to a different mobile provider when using a pac code

I signed up to talkmobile on monday and when I received the sim card today it allows me to make phone calls but my number haven't been changed over from three mobile.

When did you give them your pac to start the switchover process?

normally 24, sometimes 48 hours, not inc weekends. My last two have been next day. Try rebooting the phone at intervals too?

I gave them the pac on monday when I signed up but I totally forgot that when you sign up it asks to select a network switch date at least 5 days from now so I put the 13/7/20202. So until my number changes do I use my old 3 sim card of my new talk mobile sim card.

You can use either SIM card till the switchover.
