How to close Tesco current account

Here is a way to close your Tesco account which bypasses the HSBC need to go into a branch to switch
open a monzo account by downloading the app
switch your Tesco account into the monzo account by simply giving them your Tesco account details
once to Tesco account has been switched to your monzo account you can either keep your monzo account because suddenly you realise you like it so much or you can close it down from the app.

0345 835 3353 for current accounts. If you listen to the options twice they give an option to press 0 to speak to someone. So I just dial the number and press 0 to skip the waitZeroSum said:

Must've just changed in last year, (after I made a complaint to them about it). Cos that option wasn't there when I phoned themColdIron said:
