How to close Tesco current account

    Here is a way to close your Tesco account which bypasses the HSBC need to go into a branch to switch

     open a monzo account by downloading the app

    switch your Tesco account into the monzo account by simply giving them your Tesco account details

    once to Tesco account has been switched to your monzo account you can either keep your monzo account because suddenly you realise you like it so much or you can close it down from the app.

    You don't ever need to leave your deckchair...

    None of the options allow you to speak to an actual person. Its only for stuff like automated balance check. So my point still stands
    0345 835 3353 for current accounts. If you listen to the options twice they give an option to press 0 to speak to someone. So I just dial the number and press 0 to skip the wait

    And as I said last year, there was no option to speak to anyone. 
    In fact when I made the complaint the person on the other end agreed with me.
