I am on the trashnothing network (pulls together freecycle, freegle etc. into one portal)
You can select a wider ares to see/offer stuff.
some people may travel a bit further for some stuff.

The OH says a lot of the charity shops are swamped with stuff, because they need to store before sorting are limiting new donations till they get through the backlog.
