Try to clear your card in full each month.  Taking three months to clear a grand isn't a good look, unless it's at 0%.

Lenders have visibility of account conduct - balances, payments, missed payments etc.

Now you mention it, it is at 0%. But i shall clear it anyway, my poor old car is in a right state!
