If you post this in the correct section of "Energy" rather than "LPG, Heating Oil, Solid & Other Fuels", you may find people there who can help, especially the Eon rep who frequents those pages.1

krissy - when you repost as Mister G says.
What has happened about your bills since February - perhaps this bill relates to the energy used in that period. Look at the bill in detail and see what the meter readings are - is the last one estimated ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

Without that, we will just be guessing, but Eon bills (like every energy suppliers) are very descriptive.
Does it, for example, mention standing charges? Because you don't appear to have included those.
Why have you received a bill at all, if it was a pre-payment meter???

Why have you received a bill at all, if it was a pre-payment meter???I was on prepayment meters but decided to swop to credit meters. They were fitted on the 26th of February 2020. Before this I’ve never owed a penny so it’s not arrears.
I’ve read my meter and the amount I’ve used Is 247 units which is what they say I’ve used which is £47 plus standing charge but their going on about £600 saying I’ve paid £300 then a discount of £85 I’ve not got a clue what they are on about or where to turn for help. I will try to up load the bill as you’ve asked. It is a very hard thing to understand without seeing the bill. Please bear with me I’m not very good on uploading things. But thank you so much for taking the time to try and help me0 -
Could the Board Guide merge this with her other thread please.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
