How to close RBS current account?

Nope - GIA and ISA are separate with the former not having the ISA tax benefits so you can run with both.

Just use 1 of your other open current accounts and switch the rbs account into that.

Nor me. I do have a RBS c/a and followed their procedure, only to check, but the close option is not there. I did recently close a Savings Builder using the online method though and the link to a form to complete was there and used successfully.

Edit to add - Checked in the banking app. and there is most definitely no way via that either.

As has been suggested already, switch or write to them.

I called them to close my H2B ISA, have you tried that?

Log on to internet banking for an account you want to keep you (may also be able to do it by the app)

choose switching option and enter the details of your RBS bank account ie sort code account number and probably the last four digits of debit card

7 working days later the RBS bank account will be closed and the balance switched into your account

That way also ensures that (if) any future payments into that closed account occur, they will get directed to your "switched to" account.
