I have no personal crusade against TIF. I simply asked why you purchased a policy for medical cover that provided no medical cover, which you haven't answered.  If anyone has a crusade it is you, in both rubbishing both The Times and it's lead reporter Andrew Ellson when he reports on the death and injuries caused by this group over many years, despite considerable effort by TIF to silence him and The Times, and anyone who points people to it.

The difference between us is that I care sufficiently to ensure people understand and are warned about the issue and can make an informed choice whereas people like you rubbish me for doing so. My reasons for posting on the subject are clear, your reasons for undermining me - not so clear.
As a publication I certainly don't like the tabloidesque Times but didn't rubbish either the article or its author; all I stated was I cannot read it as its behind a paywall and that I won't comment on what I cannot read.

“Tabloidesque”? I thought you couldn’t read The Times because of the paywall?  I have never hear of The Times being described as a tabloid before.

The reason why The Times is a highly respected publication is because they are extremely cautious compared to other publications with respect to their pre-publication scrutiny.

I cannot read the article on their website but that doesn't mean I've never read anything they've ever published.

Historically they had been great but that all went to seed when Rupert Murdoch and his crew bought it in the 80s. It ranks well in surveys, admittedly, but then we are talking about perception and not fact and the Daily Mail also ranks well illustrates the issue unless you also consider the Daily Mail as more respectable than the Guardian etc?

Rupert Murdoch had no editorial interference with The Times whatsoever.  His UK interference was The Sun. I’d like to see anyone tell Andrew Neil what to do.   This was Neil’s evidence to The Lords Committee on owner interference. “ Neil said that he could not remember Murdoch directly interfering when he was Sunday Times editor.“  About the Barclay brothers he said “ "As proprietors go it would be hard to imagine more hands-off proprietors than the Barclays."

What UK newspaper do you think has a better international reputation for it’s integrity and journalism than The Times and The Sunday Times?

So.....  is there any travel insurer other than world nomads that provides cover after you have left the country?

Anyone with medical issues might benefit from watching the video from Stefmylife on her Instagram - she's a travel blogger and used Travel4medical particularly because of issues her husband had.  They were unfortunate to need the 'service' In her video she details everything they had to endure.
If anyone who watches it would then would trust themselves to that company (which also goes back to EAF/Tif) then I pity them.
The only way we learn is from our own and other people's experiences.
There's a famous saying by Maya Angelou - "when you know better, do better"    After reading many, many views of people who have actually used EAF/Tif service, it would appear to me that this saying is lost on this company.
I am relieved that I and everyone I know,  know to steer well clear.  How they even exist as a business is beyond me.

I wonder whether there are sufficient numbers of people here who have needed insurance after the trip has started to knowledgeably advise you.  This might be the sort of thing you either need to ring a number of insurers up directly or ask an agency to do it for you.
