Ryanair flight time change and refund

Our Ryan Air flight time got changed by over 3 hours from the original time and as a result we were offered a refund for both the outbound and return. We clicked a link in the refund offer email and accepted the refund on a web form. Today we got an email asking us to check in for the flight. Can see our refund request disappearing down a black hole as we received no acknowldegement following our acceptance of the refund on the form  Has anyone else been in this situation ? Our hands seem tied and not sure what avenues we have to get our money back
