Not used Anydesk but hear others say its good. I use TeamViewer for personal use but we also have a corporate license at work and we use it there. Fully encrypted sessions and you can even set a password on the client end for unattended sessions (I use that feature at work and for family).

They'd have to guess the long ID number and the password for anyone to jump on without you knowing. And of they did get on, you'd notice as it would show someone connected via TeamViewer. I've never read anywhere of anyone managing to guess a TeamViewer ID and password.

Also you can't brute force a TeamViewer password as after about 4 to 5 failed login attempts, it blocks that IP for about 10mins.

    Anydesk is good. <snip>
Someone whose first post is to resurrect a dead thread is almost always the sign of a spammer in the making. 🙄

    Long time TeamViewer user here
They seem to have got a bit over aggressive with their 'commercial use' checking - have always used it to talk to my laptop which is used as media center in lounge from my desktop

But now from today every time I try to connect it says commercial use detected and session is limited to 5 mins

My more important use of late is to use it to connect to TeamViewer Quicksupport installed on elderly relatives Android devices phones and tablets to assist with video calls and general support / education - Thats also triggering the commercial use  warning  and session limit

Doesn't seem to be anyway round it - makes it almost unusable for me
Either they have made that check too aggressive or they are looking to dump free users

They claim not trying to dump free users on this page
There is an appeal process - I'm trying that now

Because Teamviewer quite often seems to decide its commercial use (sometimes for no obvious reason), it probably stands to reason it might be a good idea to make use of second remote control software just in case, because you can have more than one remote control software program installed on a computer.

I need remote access to control Android phones, either from another Android device or a desktop PC - Any suggestions to take place of TeamViewer(pc) & Teamviewer QuickSupport(android) in case my appeal gets rejected
