hi Taxi,
Had my op two weeks ago, had a few complications but home and getting a little better each day now. Before i went to hospital I spent time batch cooking and filling freezer which has been a godsend since I came home as OH is not a good cook like your hubby:rolleyes:   . I also got all the xmas pressies etc sorted so nothing to do on that score. Not doing much at all at the moment, would be enjoying the time off work if I actually had the energy to do anything and wasn't feeling so uncomfortable. I'm not a very patient patient:rotfl:
Great news about Barclaycard:j :j you have done great. All your totals are looking good, you have really achieved a lot this year.
Did you ever get to grips with the "system" you were going to put in place for your receipts/expenses etc??.
Hope you have some good days takings up to xmas to help those overpayments.
take care

Morning everyone,
Haven't been to work today as I got up and was really tired so lay down and fell asleep again!!!
Sophiesmum...sorry to hear that you had complications...not too bad I hope!!!...the tiredness from the op is awful but in the end you'll feel loads better...you must take it easy though as the op is a really big one..I know what you mean about being a patient patient ...and glad to see that the forward planning has took some stress off all of you...hope you feel better soon..
I didn't get totally used to the system as I haven't kept up with it totally!!...I do however stick all the bits of paper in one box now and the credit card machines in a different envelope each month...so thats a little improvement...
Take it easy xxxx0 -
Afternoon everyone,
well I slept most of yesterday on and off!!!!...I've just put £65 in my holiday account towards Mexico...
The paperwork arrived today for the halifax card...it's 0% on bts and 0% on purchases for 12 months but will only use it for purchases in an emergency....
Day off today and have been to the bank and shopping...just bits and need to pop to a friends later...will also be off tomorrow as I'm awaiting delivery of my BT hub....but being a technophobe I don't know how to set things up so will probably find that I have no internet until monday as that is when the engineer is coming...so you'll not see me about but I need to clean the house for the engineer coming anyway....so that will keep me busy...apart from that nothing happening and all really boring!!!0 -
Morning everyone...it's freezing here....really thick ice...I've got internet at the moment..don't know whether thats a good or a bad sign as I'm meant to be changing from Tiscali ti BT today....have to await a delivery as well today but feeling nervous as I think something will be wrong...don't know why I'm writing this as seem to be talking to myself anyways nowadays...take care xx0

Morning Taxi,
I haven't posted on your diary before, but I've been following your progress since I joined, and have kept up to date with your new diary every day - sorry, I don't know how to put that without sounding like a stalker!
You've achieved so much so quickly, I don't know how you do it! You're so determined and so organised, it's wonderful to see how your hard work and huge efforts are paying off!
Best of luck and please keep updating us - your diary is one of the main reasons others like me keep plugging away too.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
