Woohoo! :D Really pleased about that Taxi - really really good. And I have to admit that I really didn't think she'd pay up at all.

Slightly off topic - our school this year is doing shoeboxes for Blackpool - hats, scarves etc - for helping hands :) Am well impressed with our kids. But just wanted share with someone who knew Blackpool!

Thank you. I am off to bed now - the children are karate grading tomorrow so another fairly early start ahead, then I have to do the bar job from 1pm so need to head over there and hope I can remain standing until I finish - I am so tired that I actually went to bed for a nap this afternoon. I can't remember the last time I did that apart from when I had an awful flu last year! Must be tired!!!

Have a good weekend, and take great satisfaction in getting barclaycard paid off xx

me neither Sea...that's nice of the kiddies doing that for helping hands...the charity helps people back into work by recycling and doing up old furniture and helps homeless families by giving them said furniture...it rehabilitates drug addicts and offenders giving them a worthwhile job..so good all round...that's what they used to do anyway...don't know what else they do..are the boxes for homeless children?

I don't think so - I think they are for the actual people helping hands support - one of the people who runs it has given us the details for the shoeboxes - warm clothes, perhaps a little treat or two as its Christmas (chocolate or whatever) and it's nice for the kids to see that the stuff they bring in will help those on their doorstep - especially given some of the stereotypes banded about our school - you know the kind of school it is!! lol

    Hi taxi

Wow, great news that the pee woman paid up. She must have had a twinge of conscience, or perhaps she realised no taxi driver will ever take her anywhere again. A nice little extra bonus to put towards clearing those cards.

JJ sounds a bright little boy. They are so sweet at that age, I feel quite sad not to have a little one around any more.
