Afternoon all..what a busy day I've had today..I'm worn out now..
    Today I have:
    sorted and filed all post.
wrote a complaint to the CEO of Halifax and posted it recorded delivery
Activated my new A+L debit card
phoned 02 BB to change my account details with them
    phoned solicitor
phoned the place that pays my back to work credit in the bank only to be told had to do it at the job centre...so
    went to the job centre
went to A+L to deposit cash so that I can write my subs cheque from that account this week.
went to Halifax and paid my CC off in full...£421.03...can't wait to phone and tell them to shove it!!!!
went to Morrissons and did shopping...only spent £32 so that was good
filled up at Morrissons as well
    home and put shopping away...
    done my surveys etc....
Just got some washing to do now!!!..wish I'd gone to work...lol...
  • Hi Taxi

Tax Credits are carp I have read so many stories of people being under/over paid and the families they are actually supposed to be helping to make things easier for they are actually causing so many of them STRESS!! Whats the point in that? I am so glad we earn enough to only qualify for their basic £500 per year (ish) so I don't run the risk of having to dealing with their complete inability. I think if we go over £60K that is when we wouldn't qualify for the basic but as its only £46 per month I wouldn't be missing much and if I earned £60K would I care? NOPE...

I do feel for you on the sleeping coz I actually sleep very well as a rule but on the very rare occasions I have been awake in the night I found it absolutley waring and looonnnng and just plain awful so I hope that resolves itself for you soon.

Hope you have managed a productive day with your list of things to do.

    Take care
    KM x

Edited to say I have only just read your post above so I know you definately had a productive day!! Well done you, always a good feeling eh to achieve so much with a day.

We don't get anything now and I'm glad about that. The only thing I get is a back to work credit that I get for returning back to work having been on the sick last year. That's due to finish shortly as I've been back nearly a year now.
    Really tired now...
