Thanks Bob...I will have £8300 but my finance is just over £9000...but at least I can pay most of it.The next payment is due the 31st as well.Think hes applied for the loss of earnings and other stuff while he's awaiting DHs medical...they'll want to settle quick as the hire car is £95 plus vat a day.

Morning all..hope you are all well.
It's our day off today and I've quite a bit to do today
strip our bed, wash and dry and re make the bed...DONE IN DRYER NOW
phone solicitors and salvage to check when I'm getting the £1500 cheque from the salvage...DONE AS £6800 CHEQUE ARRIVED AND THEY ARE GOING TO SEND THE SALVAGE CHEQUE ON AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES
go to insurance Broker and pick up insurance certificate for brand new car...DONE
nip to vauxhall to let them have it so they can tax the new car...DONE
Go to Preston for 1pm as there is a fault on the hire car(minor) and that is the nearest Skoda garage(it's easier for me to do that rather than the hire firm to take it away and take two days to bring it back)...DONE
    check online banking.......DONE
    check for surveys etc...NOW DONE
    bit of shopping...DONE
    go to bank...DONE
That's about it for now....Have a good day xx

Thanks Bubbles ..you too xxx.I am often quite busy on day off as I save all my jobs until then.I usually bank daily at the moment(which is time consuming) as I'm trying to keep out of the O/D as the O/D interest is calculated daily.Just waiting for post and DH to get up before we go it.

A ll jobs complete and now having a brew.Tea is on cooking and have also phoned GMAC about settling the payment and they said they may write some of the debt off but I can't really see them doing that though.
Just going to chill now as have done enough.

Fingers crossed for some sort of reduction from GMAC - anything will be better than nothing!

Thanks you 2..not seen you around for ages Peb..hope everything is well for you xx...Hypno the girl on the phone mentioned it to me...I was checking that I could pay off in the 3 sectione ie £6800 then £1500 and then the other £887.51 that I would owe them but by the time I pay the other two lots £8300 the next car payment would come out so I would have paid £543.90 anyway off it leaving a balance of £343.61 for me to find!!!!!
But they wanted me to pay my part £887.51 and then refund the £543.90..I don't see the point in that though...it's easier for me to find the £343.61(not very easy but easier)...then she said they may be able to knock some off but I didn't understand how or why...so we'll see.I don't want anything unsettled on my credit report!!!!! as I have a excellent credit rating so if that's the case I will find the money from somewhere and await the cheque back.
