Sorry Bob cross posted there.I can see their reasons and he was honest about itbut I guess it will happen with all the banks sooner or later.I don't think any bank is any better than any other though...so thats another problem.I was going to leave them this morning when I got that letter.0

Well if you can get a better deal at another bank i would leave..what about that matched overdraft deal? I think its on quidco, sorry not very with it at the moment and can'r remember name of bank..Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Will look about.I also need good credit interest as usually I'm quite a bit in credit. No harm in looking though...maybe I will find something good.I need it to have a good internet banking and also must be able to go into a branch to deposit.Theres a load of good reviews about FD but is that only an internet bank.I deal with a lot of cash. Will have to have a read up.0

I would certainly look into it..i think the Abbey are offering a decent rate of interest on current accounts, but i would also look at all the banks, and sweeping money into savings pots as well.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

only A+L and HSBC on quidco!!!!.....both aren't as good as Halifax. Also checked out FD and the amount of charges they have in their small print is unbelievable..so that's those two out.Off to check Abbey out now...0

Abbey looks ok as they match the o/d or 8% interest...I have my mortgage with them.I will give it some thought though.A lot of people say Abbey are awful so I don't know what to do really.Off to the banking budgetting board now xx0

Rang Vauxhall today to check progress on car and he didn't have any news but had e-mailed them yesterday at 4pm and not received e-mail back so it will be checked up on on monday.I don't expect it will be long now anyway.
