Morning everyone ...it will definitely be another boring day today as there is a two day strike on so no school runs and lots of people off work and looking after their kids.Ahhh well....will go out anyway in the hope of a minor miracle. The credit crunch has been hitting us for the last few weeks as well.Hopefully we will be able to ride the storm.
You're all right by the way as boring is good considering the last few weeks of hassle.Have a good day everyone x0 -

Hi you two and of course everyone all else...it was an okish day moneywise.Quiet again but I took more than yetserday but needed to have the car washed and fill it and spent about 3/4 hour at vauxhall about the new car.I haven't been to the bank yet though so will do that tomorrow.
hope you've all had a good day xx0 -
Money is coming in and the day is quiet ..sounds a good one to me. How is everything else? Is Mr.taxi ok?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Mr taxi is fine ..thanks for asking!!!...have just spoke to the solicitor and he has sent a cheque for £6800 from the insurance towards the car and the other £1500 that I've to get from the salvage yard is causing me a bit of a problem...apparently the salvage yard think that they need to send the cheque to the solicitors as the car is on finance but the solicitor would then send it to me.My solicitor doesn't understand why they are saying that and is going to sort it out with them but that will probably have to be done tomorrow....
I need to pick the new insurance certificate up for the new car tomorrow..the broker has waived the £26+ fee to change the vehicle on the document...the new car will be ready in the next couple of days...then I have all the fun of pitting it and having the radio etc fitted again.....
The solicitors are arranging DHs medical and there are all the other losses but at least I won't have to pay for two car payments a month!!!!...I still have to find a fair few pound to go with the 2 cheques to clear the finance though...ahh well but at least things are starting to come in.0 -
Glad to hear things are starting to come in, and Mr Taxi isn't too bad. How are you feeling, yourself?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
