So their (the scammers') offices aren't down the road from you after all....Sorcerer2018 said:
Chetwood Financial Ltd are next door to me, yes. Chetwood are a Fintech company who have an APP which you download and you manage your money entirely through the APP. ( i guess for millennials who spend all their time on phones). I am old fashioned and use a website :-:wink:Zanderman said:
The offices of Chetwood Financial Ltd? Who are, as several people have confirmed, a completely legit firm.Sorcerer2018 said:Their offices are down the road from where I work, so if they take your money i will go over and have a word
Or the offices of the (alleged) possible scammers 'Chetwood Financial Services'?
I'd be surprised if you know where the scammers office is.

If it was gobbledegook to you - why on earth were you trying to send them money?
If you read the thread above it appears there are two similarly named companies. A real one and a clone (scam) one. Are you sure you were trying to send money to the right one?

As people suggested there is indeed an ongoing clone scam which the FCA is aware of:

If I write an article saying that Rolex watches are brilliant and you go out and buy a fake Rolex watch, that's not my failure. Or that of Trading Standards.Grainy said:I tried sending investment my Bank wouldn’t process as payment Chetwood Bank details didn’t stack up this suggests failure by MOney Expert and FCA
