There is no company on the FCA register called Chetwood Financial services. There is a company called Chetwood Financial Ltd. That company does hold deposit permissions.
With the number of cloning scams that are going on at this time (where scammers use a similar name to a real authorised entity), you need to make sure you are dealing with the real company.

(edited as I mis-read Dunston's post!)
Chetwood Financial Ltd (not Services) have a website called https://smartsavebank.co.uk/ which claims to offer savings accounts covered by fscs.
They were described as a best buy a year ago https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/saving/article-7209785/SmartSave-launches-table-topping-one-year-fixed-rate-savings-account.html
Now their opening pages states:This link https://smartsavebank.co.uk/1-year-fixed-rate-saver/ opens a page with a 1.01% Fixed Year Saver dated 5th June 2020 - but states it's no longer available. Our great rates have been snapped up!
We’re not offering Fixed Rate Saver accounts to new customers right now but don’t worry, we’ll be back soon.
In the meantime, you can take a look around our website to learn more about our savings accounts.
So Chetwood seem genuine - but If the OP has contact with someone claiming to be Chetwood and offering 'great rates' at the moment they may well be being scammed.2 -
Sounds like a fraudulent scam just from the company’s name."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

I had a Smartsave account between March 2019 and March 2020. They are a perfectly proper outfit. The only reason I am no longer with them is that I could get better interest rates elsewhere.
I don't think they have anything to do with "Chetwood Financial Services", who might well be a cloning scam.0 -
OP, how did you come across them ?

Or the offices of the (alleged) possible scammers 'Chetwood Financial Services'?
I'd be surprised if you know where the scammers office is.0 -
