Worth maintaining multiple Children accounts ?

Hello,
Currently I maintain two Children accounts:

• One for gifts given by Grandparents, friends, relatives
• One for gifts given by parents (us)

The reason for this is to prove that money gifted by parents doesn't exceed £100 in interest (if it does, then its counted as parents income). 
I am now thinking of just opening a JISA and combine all money in there. Is my understanding right that money in JISA isnt subject to £100 interest rule ?

Interest in any ISA (in particular a Junior ISA) is not taxable
