Just thinking, should company names be allowed in certain threads?
For example if I said, "Company X were scamming me" they could consider it libel and take the site to court. This could cost Martin's staff time and effort, and jeopardise the site's future.
What do you think?
Thanks

It all depends on how the statement is justified.Gone ... or have I?0

Speaking from experience, I would say as dmg24 that it depends on the statement. If a company is Bogus or has a history of ripping people off, MSE is the place to warn other potential victims of falling foul.
However one cannot accuse a company without justification, or merely because they have a vendetta against a company, as that could lead to libel. MSE will simply delete a thread that touches libel, for its own sake.
If however the company has a reputation of scamming people. MSE will leave it be up until there is cause for complaint.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
