It's probably fell into cartakeback territory. Try there.

Cartakeback would give me £200. There are 10 cars of my age and type all being sold on eBay. All by traders. Average price £1740. These would be bought with benefit of CRA2015 I guess but couldn't imagine the traders easily complying. I always sell privately. No idea how I would price it.0

They've just emailed me. If I don't accept their offer of £50 in the next 24 hours the offer will be withdrawn. I find it crazy that they will give me £50 for a car that a dealer would then sell for £2K.0

How does the car get from WBAC to that £2k customer?
You <-> £50 <-> WBAC <-> BCA auction <-> dealer <-> £2000 <-> customer
Now add in all the transport costs, staff costs, premises costs, prep costs, margin to cover consumer rights obligations, tax... Oh, yes! Profit!
My mother PXed her 2009 207 estate just before lockdown. The dealer gave her just over a grand for it. It's currently up at a local back-street car sales place for £3k. What's the difference?
(Oh, wait. Tell a lie. They've clearly sold it, because it's gone off their website, and is taxed.)
And, fwiw, a mate was selling a similar but leggier one privately for £600 a couple of months ago.

I'm holding out for Robert Redford and a million Dollars.
It's definitely going to happen0
