Email address or address for BT

Hi folks, I am looking for an email address or a mailing address to query something with BT which has just appeared for the first time on MSE Credit club on June 6th from November 2015.
When I moved house at that time I signed up with BT for the internet, there were major issues with the line which could not be resolved. I ended up cancelling during the cooling off period - in any case they couldn't supply the service, a default has been added for £30. To resolve the issue I ended up going with Virgin Media.
Needless to say, I am annoyed, very annoyed, I've not even a late payment in 6 years let alone a default.

Presumably it’s an install or activation charge.
Those are still payable even if you cancel within the cooling off period.0 -
You are possibly correct, given that there was a fault on the line which meant I had to find an alternative provider, it would be somewhat harsh to impose an activation fee. The line was never activated.D3xt3r5L4b said:Presumably it’s an install or activation charge.

Phoned BT just now, they are saying they’ve no record of an account in my name at that address.
Honestly, I’ve no patience or time to deal with this.0 -
it is worth the patience - otherwise you are stuck with that on your credit history for 6 years. Write a letter if you don't want to waste time on the phoneI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
