HSBC email that looks like a scam

Hi all
I applied 3 weeks ago and didn't hear anything,
however today I got an email from this email address: hsbc@information.hsbc.co.uk, saying that don't find an account on my name (which isn't true) isn't correct, it looks a SCAM email, can anyone confirm that?

Are you sure that's the email (a link can read one thing but have an underlying different email). I could create a link that shows the above but when clicked on to create a new email, actually is a totally different address. (apologies, you may be aware of all this, but I prefer to check).
I ask because that email address you written above is under the control of HSBC UK. However - I'm also surprised that such an expected reply would come from a generic email address like that. On the flip side, it's not asking for anything I guess? Passwords, account details, to click here for a response? In which case maybe it is. Best option is to call a trusted number (appreciate that's more difficult to get through at the moment)
