I applied for a Post Office Credit Card. Now they are moving me to a card that has nothing to do with the Post Office.
There is still Post Office Credit Cards available.
I am unhappy that if I still would like a Post Office Credit Card, I have to apply again.0 -

So as I understand it, existing PO customers will be moved to Jaja, but if you apply for a new PO card, it will not be transferred to Jaja?
Btw, I wonder if they know what Jaja means in Polish (eggs / testicles).0 -
No, all of the old Post Office Credit Cards are moving to Jaja.
You can apply for a new Post Office Credit Card that is not going to move to Jaja.0 -

It seems the offering (ie 0% on FX) will be the same, so the question for me is, do I just continue as normal with the new card, or re-apply to the post office and get a capital one backed card?0

Only you can answer that question.

Another failing of the FCA IMO.
At least now it will say on the tin who the provider is.
And these things are not particularly uncommon in the credit card world. Many retailers, airlines etc have cards with their branding on them, but they're ultimately provided by someone else. You even see it with "banks" (M&S Bank being HSBC for example.)
I don't see what the problem with this is, it's not like the paperwork won't tell you who is ultimately providing these services.0 -
Do people really think that the likes of Dorothy Perkins are doing the finance for their own storecards then (as an example)?
The mind boggles.
Its quite clear on the paperwork who the provider is.1
