I'm running Windows 10, a recent Edge update was installed, I've not had any issues really apart from when I try to access 'satirical/spoof news websites' such as The Daily Mash or Cutting News, Edge now won't allow this? It shows message below?
Hmmm… can't reach this page
www.thespoof.com refused to connect.
Try:
- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall

Could be a firewall issue?
Try a different browser first. Firefox is more reliable and faster than Edge anyway.1 -
Try another Browser. There are many.2

That implies a firewall issue on your configuration. Do you have a firewall outside of the Windows one?

Do you have any internet security on the computer? Norton, Mcafee, Kaspersky, etc? The options for the firewall are normally in there.

Don't have any of those mentioned, on friends advice I've downloaded 'Malwarebytes' 'CC' cleaner and free 'Avast' anti virus ages ago but never had an issue?
How can I check if I have a Firewall? This has only happened after latest Edge download?
Can/should I go back to original Edge?0 -
