Thanks all, and yes it's such a racket, very glad that I took the time to read up on it all and chance the IAS appeal. Almost tempted to go after them now for wasting my time, but life its too short! Going to write to my MP about it as well, though he's a useless fat Tory so I won't be expecting anything!

Well done!
IAS members cancel saying 'reason - mitigation' so that the IPC can say in figures abut IAS, that xx% of PCNs are cancelled due to mitigation. It makes it look like their firms are playing nicely.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Bear in mind the IAS doesn't let you copy and paste wording so you must type it all out again.
Also remove all the 'you' and 'your' because this appeal is addressed to the IAS 'assessor' (such as they are - anonymous, cheap and clueless) and not the parking firm so it's not ''you'' or ''your'' at this stage.
Of course, by keeping the "assessor" anonymous, I'm sure that there are advantages to the IAS for doing so...1 -
Umkomaas said:Well done on a very rare success at the IAS. The IAS never find against one of their own, rather than do so, they whisper to them that they quietly withdraw. So much for neutrality and impartiality. They all pee in the same pot!0
