Have you followed the advice above, and tried logging in to move the booking?
Moving it is better than nothing, and unfortunately if the flight goes ahead you're not entitled to a refund.
The FCO advice isn't Easyjet's problem, they're still providing the service - so it's best to move rather than lose the money altogether.
Been on hold to them all day. My understanding is that they have to be 'easily contactable' 72 hours before your flight. Which they aren't. Impossible to speak to someone, they effectively pushing me into their own penalties. So I'm going to try a chargeback via AMEX. If that doesn't work, I'll make a legal claim against them online. They're obviously so busy, that I seriously doubt they have the resource to respond to my legal challenge within the 2-week timeframe, even if they do, I believe they have acted unreasonably.

A chargeback on what grounds? If the flight isnt cancelled then it will fail.  And even if you got through to them straight away you are peeing in the wind to getting a refund if the flight goes.

Small claims court will fail by the same token.

At the risk of repeating myself, go online (not on the phone) and change the dates of the flights.

Going to put this in capital letters: YOU BOOKED NON-REFUNDABLE FLIGHTS. By letting you change the date of them fee-free they are doing more than they actually need to be doing here. And no I don't work for them before you pull that accusation out.

Within 14 days of travel EasyJet charge for changing the flight.  It's still better than losing all the money but it's not fee-free.

I see. Well in that case maybe it should have been done weeks ago, i doubt the hotel has only been cancelled and refunded within the last 12 days.

At the end of the day the brutal truth is on non-refundable bookings Easyjet wont give a toss if the hotel have cancelled and the hotel wouldnt give a toss either if the flights were cancelled and you couldnt get there, the joys of building your own holiday.
