Has anyone managed to get a refund for a non-refundable booking from Hotels.Com?
I was due to fly out on 5th to Italy but the flight got cancelled. This was refunded without a problem.
But I'm having no luck with the 3 different hotels I booked with hotels.Com as they are back open.
Anybody please help me?

If they're open, you're not entitled to a refund - a refund would only apply if the hotel is closed.
I'm in the same boat - just deciding if I should book other flights or write the cost off.0 -
from Hotels.com website
- For non-refundable stays after 30th June, we will continue to work with properties as necessary to implement flexible policies. Rest assured that we are doing our best to make this experience as easy and stress-free as possible for our customers, and will keep everyone updated with the latest information.
Have you discussed with your travel insurance whether it is possible to claim in the event a reschedule is not an option?0 -

but this week got my credit card statement and the hotel have charged me. I emailed hotel, they say they don't deal with hotels.com direct but through Expedia !! Hotels.com said they can't do anything about it, yet I pointed out to them my contract is with them and I agreed 10% charge. I'm chasing on with them but they have gone quiet now0 -
I am still waiting a refund from Hotels.com, I am booked to stay in Bilbao on 5th July but the hotel is closed until July 10th. I wrongly presumed that a refund would be a formality but they have instigated delaying tactics. Having looked at their Facebook site I am not the only one and they are facing extreme reputational damage due to the way they are handling the situation.0
