Holiday cancelled - lead passenger not cooperating

Correct, 12 weeks before. So balance would have due in April. If no effort was made to contact them to arrange a delayed payment of it then I fear deposits have been lost.

They managed to get an extension to pay the balance but even so it was due weeks ago.  Tui never made contact with them to pay the balance and as as they paid in store they couldn't do it online.  When they tried contacting them they were on hold for ages so never got through to anyone.  
After a lot of pressure from the other girls the lead passenger has spoken to Tui this afternoon.  They confirmed the holiday has now been cancelled and she will get the £1000 refund within 28 days.  I just hope she isn't as awkward when it comes to splitting the money between them all. But at least we know it is finally cancelled.

Tell her to get the money and then never speak to her again, she doesnt sound very pleasant.

I agree.  I can't see them being friends after this.
