    Hey Saving!
There are no fatties here! B) I think I will try calling you 'Swan' sort of parts of your profile name, as in 'svelte-like', if that's ok....

Picturing you gracefully sailing around on a smooth pond, all calm on the surface, whilst your legs are going like the clappers underneath, i.e. you are working hard!  :D

    Hey Babs n' Rambo!
Little bit, as in dodging the peak heat, and furtling around in the garden doing little projects... :)

Finally sorted out a wildlife pond, for which the birds are gasping in gratitude, nice to see wildlife getting a chance to drink and cool off...then they have the strength to hammer the pests for me!

In-between stressful stuff in reality.... such is life. :/

  • It’s good you are able to see & enjoy the good stuff in between the stressful stuff. Wildlife pond sounds wonderful!

Aw thanks, Skinty, yes, it's nice to watch what the birds get up to, they look so funny getting themselves soaked in the water, splashing around and really enjoying it. Have to keep the dog well away from them though....I even made a mini 'beach' of stones for them on a gentle slope so they can see how deep it is and get in and out easily, some 'perching' stones to sit on afterwards to preen and dry out. All they need now is the floating cup holders, chill out music, and sunglasses, and the waiter (me) passing around the snacks....They will have to slum it with the bird feeder near-by! :D

The beach and pond sound great, have you a few beach huts pinned up for them anywhere?
Better watch out, they will be ordering c-tails to go with the poolside snacks.
