How will you feel if you get to your new property and the bin is 3/4 full?  I would try and visit the tip to get rid of the rubbish before I left if it was me.  Having said that, where we live we have to provide our own bins - I couldn't believe it.  When we arrived there was no bin!  I had to go out and buy one.
TBH unless bin day had just been, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. It's not particularly realistic to expect someone in the throes of packing and moving to be queuing up for the tip - ours is currently running at about an hours wait.

I'd also be quite pleased if someone left their compost behind - save me starting again from scratch.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

My later mother moved the contents of our compost bins several times that I can remember (and these were massive things). After all, you did put the time and effort into making it.
Is it bad that the compost in there is from the previous owner 7 years ago? >.<

We are due to complete on Tuesday and Bin days are on a Monday

I have prepared a welcome note with directions for alarm, boiler, utilities etc
    also mention about bin timetable
I was going to mention about bin being fullish on there

Cant go to tip as dont have a car and Leeds City Council only accept people in cars. as well as needing to book a slot
I dont want to pay anyone, as extra £, also locally there's lots of people offering the clearing service but then flytipping
