emptying bins + gardening before moving out

I think it would be much more considerate and polite not to leave a nearly full bin. The tips are open.0

How will you feel if you get to your new property and the bin is 3/4 full? I would try and visit the tip to get rid of the rubbish before I left if it was me. Having said that, where we live we have to provide our own bins - I couldn't believe it. When we arrived there was no bin! I had to go out and buy one.Debt free and Keeping on Track1

Personally, I wouldn't stress about the bin or too much about cleaning. The second thing I do when moving in is to give everything a clean while its empty.0

I agree with others here, it might not be a legal requirement to leave the bins empty, but you should leave the property how you’d like to find one when you move in for the first time...
Its the right thing to do.1 -

Thats nice of them to do - sounds like something I’d do and worry over! haha
You never know what people are going to be like, it’s good you had perspective...

I have a question on this:
Planning on emptying the bins before leaving, however in the fixtures/fittings forms I said I would be leaving the compost bin.
Do I need to empty the compost bin? It's full of... well, compost, eggshells and all.0 -
My later mother moved the contents of our compost bins several times that I can remember (and these were massive things). After all, you did put the time and effort into making it.
