I don't think this is a switch, the OP is ending his tenancy on 7th July.

The question related to it being fair to future tenants.

They replied to the email saying that I should inform the next tenants of their details as they will be required to go into contract with them until this meter information is provided to them. Makes me wonder how long they’ll be waiting for this information, surely this isn’t fair on future tenants as Enstroga have been a far from pleasant experience for me! How long does this intra-industry communication take?!

There really isn't to much of a problem.

When you leave the tenancy you read your meters and close the account with the energy supplier and hopefully you should not need to have any more problems but it's worthwhile taking a piccy of the meter (showing it's serial number and MPAN).

If you changed suppliers since you move in then it would be polite to tell the landlord or owner because he becomes liable for any consumption and the standing charge from that point. Any sensible LL should make sure that he agrees the readings with you when you move out in much the same way as he should check the condition of the property.

It's then up to the LL to pay for any energy and s/c until the next tenant moves in. He should also make some sort of handover which agrees the state of the property and checks the meter readings so he can pay for his bit and the new tenant opens his own account with his own meter reading (again taking a piccy. The LL should pay for the energy and s/c between tenants but that depend on the scruples of the LL. Obviously that might not happen if there's only a day or two between tenants but in that case the outgoing readings and incoming readings should be close enough that it doesn't make much difference.

Unfortunately some LL's and managing agents don't do the job properly or even worse change suppliers in the middle (frequently to Spark - where they get a big rake-off) but it's still incumbent on the new tenant to go through the proper process even if he wants to change suppliers. It's when people dont do it properly that it all falls to bits and can take a lot of unravelling.

But you still cant switch until you've signed up with the existing supplier which is what the thread is about - IMO compo would be the subject of a different thread if the correct procedures had been followed. Just my opinion you understand but terminating a contract with Enstroga is not the same as initiating a switch to another supplier. It's the supplier that takes over that makes the switch happen although the losing supplier can halt it if necessary.
However as the OP seems to be moving out and therefore leaving his supplier he should give them a final reading and assuming that the rest of the account was in order he can claim compo after six weeks if he hasn't received a final bill and more if if he doesn't get any credit back.

    The question was
"They replied to the email saying that I should inform the next tenants of their details as they will be required to go into contract with them until this meter information is provided to them. The answer is "The new tenants must register and supply a meter reading before switching to a new company.  This intra-industry communication will take up to take15 working days, otherwise the new tenants will get £30 automatic compo."
I don't think there is any disagreement about this??

Ok thank you all for the advice, first time sorting own bills so has all been a learning curve!

I’ve just served Enstroga our notice to terminate the contract! And will pay off the full bill when I receive a final bill for the period I resided in the property.

They replied to the email saying that I should inform the next tenants of their details as they will be required to go into contract with them until this meter information is provided to them. You will do the new tenants a big favour by making sure they know that Enstroga is the energy supplier. What wold not be fair on them would be not to tell them. And I hope that the current tenants/occupiers of your new place will do the decent thing and tell you who is supplying the energy there, so you can contact them on day 1 to open an account..

Doesn't matter if they don't: on Day 1 the OP can and should register with the existing electricity supplier by checking with their DNO's website and for gas by visiting Find My Supplier.
