Santander Help to Buy ISA - another dead duck

Gone from the best Help to Buy ISA rate (4.25%) to one of the worst in a matter of weeks. Now joins the 123 account as a dead duck...

Ugh, just got this email too. I was expecting a small drop but not this.
I've now reached the amount (£12k) that will entitles me to the maximum bonus (£3k), so paying in the £200 each month is now less crucial... however we're hardly spoilt for choice for alternative homes for it!0 -
I originally transferred from the Virgin Issue 1 which paid 3% and is now at 2.75% so looks like in the longer term, the Virgin account was worth sticking with even if it meant losing out on 4%+ in the shorter term.garfield33 said:Ugh, just got this email too. Santander's normal ISA now has a wonderful 0.01% rate due!
So, invest £1,000 and in a year you will make 10p (tax free) in interest! Phwoar!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!1
