new Contract
Am I being dense? I want a new phone and contract and when I have phoned o2 and Orange and Vodafone direct, they say they can only offer me what they have on their web site (current promotion / offers). When I quote some of the upgrade offers or new offers from Carphonewharehouse etc. they say sorry and put the phone down.
What's the best way for me to get a good new phone Samsung D800 on a 12-18 month contract at a low monthly cost? I only wanted to pay £25 a month and I want the phone for free. Am I expecting too much? What should I expect?

Unfortunately if you're a new customer you only get the standard deals on offer, be it in the paper, online, wherever. Upgrade deals that are talked about on here are designed by the networks to keep a highish value customer - ie proven record of being a good earner for them. Offers from other companies are a bit different and usually involve cashback deals.If this has been of any use please click on THANKS, it makes me look good.0
