This is an interesting thread.  I was quite shocked to discover that CEC no longer shows AVRO, even when I select my existing supplier.  The last two times we switched, we just took up the latest AVRO deal - shame AVRO don't let us know automatically, which was one of the benefits over the years of the CEC....now that doesn't work.   I have to say it means I've lost my trust in CEC.

PS is there any way of asking MSE or CEC about this.... or is it the ASA that need contacting?

You'll probably get a silly answer.  I complained that they weren't showing results from Neon Reef and that I couldn't select them as my supplier, so I would miss out on alerts when cheaper tariffs were available.  Their reply was that Neon Reef hadn't sent them their tariffs.

Even if that were true, the CEC should still modify its claim to show all tariffs from all suppliers because it knows it simply isn't true.  MSE would soon call out an organisation that made false claims; they even targeted John Lewis (quite rightly) when JL's price was £8.00 but a competitor was selling at £7.99.

Great shame that the gamekeeper seems to be becoming a bit of a poacher...
