I’ve stopped working there due to Covid but I don’t think I’ll be called back so No. I wouldn’t really know, maybe not being able to work holidays entitlement etc does that count? I wouldn’t really know
You said you stopped working there due to covid, what was agreed when you stopped working? Did they agree to furlough you? Pay you or did they say it would be unpaid? or was nothing said?

Nothing was said. I was meant to go to work and I received a text by a manager saying due to lockdown restrictions there won’t be no work until further notice. He didn’t furlough me although I asked. he refused saying he has cash flow problems. Nothing was said and I’m on zero income since March.

ok then the next question do you think you were on a zero hour contract i.e. not set shifts/hours or did you do the same hours each week, either shifts or same amount of hours?

I don’t know whether I was on zero hours or not but I did the same hours every day. Monday to Friday 8am to 5 pm.

Chances are probably not zero hour then. What did they say when you asked about a contract?

I guess so. I’ve asked managers since joining and they were like we are finalising terms and conditions. But It didn’t really bother me at the time because I was still getting paid and they were paying taxes to hmrc so It seemed genuine
