Is it worth selling a complete kitchen on Ebay

A friend of mine has asked me if I could perhaps sell a complete kitchen, including built-in oven, hob, fridge, freezer and extractor.
The units are in a very good condition and are pretty high spec.
the kitchen is to be extended, so it was an opportunity to remodel the whole kitchen, hence the units are not wanted. the extractor fan has never been used, although it has been in position for about 4 years .. the chap who owns the house eats out most of the time, hence the lack of use.
is it common to sell on Ebay ?
What would be best .. a job lot of all items, or maybe all the cupboards as one lot and the appliances as a separate lot, or lots.
Any tips on listing would help

thank you

Personally I think it is likely to be problematic, you’ve got all the issues with buyer wanting to use PayPal , then buyers wanting to send couriers etc, have a read of this

i’d be looking at a local selling group, Facebook marketplace , one of those phone aps etc.

lastly, I hope you don’t mean she wants you to sell this for her? I’d run a mile if so.

Facebook marketplace tends to get lots of interest in kitchens for sale.

    I'd also try Gumtree.

    Not eBay for a kitchen.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    Thank you for the replies.
Yes, maybe Gumtree would be a better option

Aside of the issues outlined, you should not ever be selling for anyone else on ebay.   It was highlighted above but in case you missed it, it is singularly the worse type of sale you can make.

I've seen lots of kitchens up for sale on ebay where it states buyer must dismantle & personally collect & in this kind of case it wouldn't be possible to send a courier to collect as they are not going to dismantle. If advertised this way, you should only get buyers able to personally collect & if kitchen has already been dismantled, it would be a nice surprise for them to arrive & not have to do the dismantling,
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Which still leaves the major PayPal issue .

I told the kitchen owner the snags with Ebay and suggested Gumtree or Facebook, but he has decided to try and sell it himself on Ebay anyway.

Oh dear, make sure they are aware of the pitfalls and the problems of PayPal as per this sticky thread

I am still running now .. thanks for the advice
i looked on Ebay and a recent listing for a kitchen had a one-line description for about 8 units which included ..
Buyer to remove units including the sink
Now, I am not a joiner or a plumber, but I'm sure there's a right way and a wrong way to remove units and a sink ... a quick yank with a crowbar will no doubt remove the items, but how much wall is taken too is anybody's guess and those two pipes being broken could flood an entire house ... agh !

I am still baffled.  Why did he ask you to sell it for him/her?  I assumed he did not have Ebay account.   Now  you tell us that he will sell it himself on Ebay.
