I have not been on here for a long time but would like to come back and say hi, I keep getting overwhelmed as I have very much a "can't be bothered" attitude until the weekend then flap around like a mad person getting stressed trying to catch up
all of mine will be done in the evenings due to work, though

Lunch, eaten and cleared away, nd load of washing done and now drying.
Tea with friend in the garden and world put to right for the rest of the afternoon. We both feel so much better for it. OH home now and off to cut the grass, need to think about dinner. Might do HHI whilst he's in the garden just to clear the basket and that way we are sure to have enough masks for the rest of the week.

All the paper is stripped!! The carpet is chosen I just need £72 of ebay sales so I can buy it.. so listy listy tonight.. I was going to get some gloss done but I am exhausted, I have been up nearly 13 hours on 4 hours sleep already so I am having a fairly quiet evening and maybe even an early night.. hahahaha... My hands are so incredibly dry I have used a gallon of handcream today.
OH is back at work on the 29th, a full 40 hours week and has a slight pay rise.so his August pay might actually be helpful!! DD3 is working the same hours as him but min. wage so she will be delighted come August too.
Washing got hung out finally and the DW loaded.

Paid stuff is pants. Everyone seems hell bent on making my life difficult. Like you ASB the anxiety is hovering and threatening to swallow me up. Exercise helps me keep a bit of balance and I am trying to get 8 hours sleep and generally look after myself better.
Downstairs hoovered, LR dusted, 1 load of washing done, steak pie made for tea, SIL birthday present delivered (sat outside in her garden for a little while). Need to collect DSs prescription tomorrow and take a parcel to Post Office.9 -
Pompoms being waved here for you, Kaz - so pleased you are now of fixed abode.
Well, today didn't turn out as planned! At lunchtime DH took himself off to the GP surgery to get his leg ulcer checked again; Thursday's swab results were back, and he has another infection; the GP 's signature was required on his prescription for yet more antibiotics, but the GP that his leg was so swollen that he ought to go to the horse piddle to be checked out for a possible thrombosis. DH came home, we ate a quick lunch, then I drove him to the horse piddle. Of course I wasn't allowed to wait with him, so I came home, sat down with a much-needed cuppa, promptly fell asleep for half an hour, and then took Rosie for her walk before going back to the horse piddle to collect DH. Came home and cooked tea. He is now in a strop because he has to go back to the horse piddle tomorrow for a scan and I have said he ought to cancel the car window repair (one rear passenger window keeps dropping down of its own accord) which he had booked for 9.00. Mind you, he is not normally able to go out before 11.00 because of the effect of the tablets he takes each morning - and then he was talking about leaving the car to be repaired, coming home by bus, and returning by bus to collect it later. Really?? With his medical record???? I had said I would take the car in and if necessary walk home and back again, but it's about 3 miles each way, up and down a lot of hills, and the weather's getting hotter again. Why couldn't he wait until a courtesy car is available?
So the sum total of my flying has been to S&S the kitchen and bathroom

I got all 3 levels done bar S & S which I’ll do before bed
But all washing up is done, cleaned the filters on the WM and TD. Had planned to adjust the WM outlet pipe as it was sitting too low for my liking so did a washing machine clean and foaming cleaner down the sink holes to hopefully get rid of the smell that’s been on and off since we moved in
I copied the levels I knew I could do onto my to do list app on my phone so it was quicker to get on to, and enjoyed ticking them off as I wentx

iona.. because he is a man.. they are idiots sometimes.. mine has just been told if he can not speak to me in a civil tongue to not speak to me at all because I am likely to throat punch him.. (I won't need to punch him, not that I could reach anyway haha, he will just shut up!)Apparently it is MY fault the hoses for the new tap have the wrong connector on AND we need a 90' elbow for the waste for the new basin... this is why you don't fit a new sink at 8pm when everywhere is shut.. numpty!! THIS is why I said to do it at lunch time... but oh no.. I'm the idiot!
So, I now have to find the 'right' hoses without any idea of what I am looking at!!! gggrrrr

Wooty woot woot, Kaz! Pom poms being flung about in your honour.
Iona, Piggers is of course right - it’s because he is a numpty, just like DH.
I am waiting for my Mr M shop to arrive. Usually I am in my Pjs by now and nursing a cuppa. I hope the driver appreciates the effort I have made by doing neither of those things !
Full on day at work, DD dropped at school for her allotted time for the week. Dinner done, kitchen given a cursory wipe down and sweep, HHI done. That is about me for the day. Apart from this dratted shop - what possessed me to think that 10pm was a good time? Ah yes, I was being moneysaving...10
