Are you saying that you are in possession of four replacement cards all with the same long number and bearing the same issue date of 05/19, but that they went sent to you in June, August, September and October 2019?

So if you did not change the address with Halifax. Then who did and how did they get through security to change the address? Yet you say you got 4 cards.

There is far more to this story than is being told.
Branch staff will tell you what you want to hear as they are face to face with you and do not have the experience of card fraud.
When you are dealing with PIN trans. It is up to you to convince Halifax it was not you. As the PIN should not be known to anyone else. Halifax will know exactly when it was either last requested or changed at a ATM.
As someone who deals with this on a daily basis, there is nothing in what you are saying that makes sense to give any hope of refunds.
And when someone tries to blame the bank for it.... Who do you think the branch staff work for?

  • Although it is difficult to completely understand your post I believe that you have had some fraudulent transactions on your credit card and have made a complaint to Halifax who have rejected your complaint saying the pin was used

you then further complained to the Financial Ombudsman Service who also rejected your complaint presumably on the same grounds

If my reading of your post is correct then unfortunately you have no further recourse other than the courts

Would like to help, is it possible for you to get someone to put it into readable English, as I think all members of the forum are struggling.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

  • Translation: the OP has had fraudulent debits to his card and has complained to his bank and to the FOS both of which have rejected his complaint.

Well Booking.com will not be a PIN transaction.
The more I hear, the less I understand.
