I am upgrading from sky+HD to sky Q next week.  Have not received viewing card yet?  Should I ring sky as I know the lines must be busy or wait for it to turn up?  I read when searching that the engineer carry spare ones.

    When I did the same upgrade I was told a new viewing card was not needed, the engineer transferred the viewing card from the old +HD box.

    If your viewing card is new enough it will work on Q.  If it starts with the number 7 it should work with SkyQ.
