Who fitted it?  Is it possible that there is some form of packing (to stop the fan swinging hither and thither whilst in transit) that hasn't been removed?

It's a plug in and good to go oven - apparently 🤦‍♀️
Was nothing on the back or inside.
Hubby has checked and it seems to be free but just doesn't move 🤷‍♀️

probably a daft question, but did you try with the oven door closed?

Yes, I've tried with it closed and open lol
Just think I've unfortunately ended up with a dodgy one.

The noise you hear when you put the grill on is a cooling fan, totally separate thing.

Just give them a call and don't be persuaded to accept a repair, you'll want a new machine or refund.

The left hand dial has the fan setting, I assume you put it on that setting? If it doesnt work then get it replaced

This may sound crazy, but have you set the clock?  Our new oven wouldn't do anything until the clock was set first.

My first thought but since the oven is reported as heating, I discarded that thought.
